Kevin Keegan

Kevin Keegan was born in Armthorpe, Doncaster, England on Feb. 14, 1951. He was interested in football when he was young. For poor family, he started work to make ends meet aged 16 while he became a complete unknown footballer. As a well-known former football player and coach of England national football team, his distinguished competitive advantages include agility, dynamic energy and powerful right-root shot.

Pulling on England football kit, Kevin Keegan played for England football team for the first time in 1972. Keegan was mostly good at running to the badly needed position by his consciousness rather than looking at football. Having worked for many clubs, he declared retirement suddenly for tired of some negative news in football field, secluded in a villa in Spain. After retirement as a football player, he coached England football team from 2000, resuming devoted himself to football industry.

In 2005, he decided not to extend contract with Manchester City, broke up with Manchester peacefully. Keegan asked himself again and again before resigning. In the end, he lived in a tranquil suburb of a city, enjoying the rest of his life in a comfort and leisurely manner.
